EQUIPMENT
We use state-of-the-art audio gear to help make recordings the best they can possibly be. From the premium, custom-made tube and solid-state mic pre-amps, to “radio-ready” digital mastering, your sound will achieve its full potential.
MICROPHONES + CUSTOM-MADE, ALL-TUBE MIC PREAMPS
We’ve got some of the finest mics from Neumann, AKG, Audio Technica, Shure, and others.
STUDIO AMENITIES
Include a coffee pot, kitchen sink, refrigerator, microwave oven, and plenty of comfortable chairs, stools, and counter space. Even the restrooms are the cleanest and classiest of any studio we know. An extensive variety of fast-food and “sit-down” restaurants are literally seconds away from our studio facility.
OUR RECORDING SYSTEM
The best of the digital world –
The incomparable Pro Tools HD interfaced with a Digidesign Control 24 console featuring motorized, automated 100mm faders. The post-production suite utilizes the Raven MTi Touch Screen controller (see image below) on another Avid Pro Tools HD system.
Digital mix is provided by way of the Control 24’s control surface and an enormous collection of the latest plug-ins and signal processors available from the finest manufacturers in the business:
Waves, Avid, Bomb Factory, Line 6, McDSP, Purple Audio, TC Electronic, Tech 21 NYC, Trillium Lane Labs, and others…The Raven MTi touchscreen system also features the identical plug-ins, signal processors, and post production software as the primary Pro Tools system.
MONITORING
The near acoustically-perfect control room and the Mackie HR824 studio monitors, coupled with JBL subs provide incredible accuracy and stereo imaging, only obtainable from the best studios.
